Noise pollution can have an unfavorable effect on working conditions. We can offer a solution to sound leakage from high level machinery to noise attenuation. In some cases, there as a statutory requirement to ensure that excessive noise is kept under the specified threshold.
A range of specialist sound reducing insulation products are available for use in new buildings, separating walls, partitions and floors, as well as for upgrading existing buildings to provide improved sound resistance and insulation.
Due to the excellent acoustic insulation properties of glass mineral wool, a range of specialist sound reducing insulation products are available for use in separating walls, partitions, and floors, as well as providing improved sound insulation and noise resistance.
While the thermal insulation properties of insulation glass mineral wool are maintained, for these products, this is usually a secondary benefit, and their primary purpose is to improve the acoustic insulation performance of the solutions in which they are used.
The use of mineral wool as a sound absorbent layer in partitions and floors will significantly improve their acoustic performance. In partitions the mineral wool absorbs the airborne sound in the cavity and reduces reverberation. It is extremely effective at preventing the hollow sound that can occur in partitions with unfilled cavities.
Key reasons for the use of these products are:

- Reduction of impact sound transmissions (e.g. through upper floors)
